Itinerary

You will be received from Kathmandu Airport by our team and transfer to the hotel through a private vehicle. You will have brief summary of your trekking in the evening by our representatives.

In the morning, your trekking companion will pick you up from the hotel and catch the bus from Bus Park to Nayapool. You’ll drive through beautiful Trisuli and Marsyangdi River which is very popular for white water Rafting. On the way, a spectacular view of mountains reminds you of the country of the Himalayas. After reaching in Pokhara, you are only an hour away from your road destination, which is Nayapool at an elevation of 1015 meters.

Since most of the trail is steep uphill, it may take around 6 to 8 hours to reach Ghandruk. We will reach Syuali Bazar after 2 hours from Birethanti, which is a small village mostly occupied by the Gurung community followed by a small number of Brahmin. Kyumi hill is the next small village on our way to Ghandruk after Syuali Bazar. Furthermore, the trail heads gradually up until Ghandruk, we will be witnessing land fields, terraces, and a few houses on our way. The famous Gurung Museum is the key characteristic of Ghandruk. You will also get plenty of traditional hotels to accommodate yourself in Ghandruk. The majestic view of Annapurna South(7229 m), Hiunchuli ( 6441 m), Fishtail (6997 m), and Annapurna III (7755 m) enthrall you in Ghandruk.

Overall, Trail from Ghandruk to Chomrong is slightly up. We will head up until Komrong Danda and then walk downhill to Komrong River. After Komrong River we have to climb up to reach beautiful Chomrong Village, another Village of Gurung Community.

This day starts with crossing the suspension bridge over the Chomrong River. We will go further following a smoothly rising and falling trail to Dhovan via Sinuwa, Kuldihar, and Bamboo, small villages. On our way, we might see a number of wildlife animals such as monkeys, wild boars, rhesus, and Danphe( National Bird of Nepal).

About one hour hike from Himalayan Hotel, we will reach Hinku Cave, a pleasant place to take a rest and favorite place of mountaineering expeditions. We have to be more cautious on this day as these areas are vulnerable to avalanches, however, your experienced guide takes good care of you at every moment. Before getting to MBC we will pass Deurali and Bagar. The trail after Bagar until MBC is comparatively easy and safe.

Finally the long wait is over and today is the day of our trekking. We will follow a quite steep way up to Base Camp. Not only glacier and snow-capped mountains, but also a crystal clear view of Annapurna 1st, Annapurna South, Barah Shikhar, Machhepuchre, Hiunchuli are the centers of attraction for this day. We will have breakfast at ABC, in the lap of Machhapuchre. After ABC our route is descended towards Dovan via the green valley and Green village.

During this trek, we have to take precautions as these areas are more susceptible to avalanches, especially from Dhovan to Bamboo, However, our team will handle all situations calmly with their expertise. The trail goes down and up to Jhinu Danda through Rhododendron and Bamboo forest, where we will have fun with a natural hot spring.

Treks commencing with downhill to kimrung Khola followed by a flat rice terrace until Himal Pani. We are going to have some rest here and enjoy the waterfalls. After crossing streams and terraces gently our next step is Landruk Village. Landruk is a big community of heterogeneous cast. After Lunch at Landruk, our trail is quite stiff and dangerous until Forest Camp. Oak forest and different wild animals and birds spur our trek.

Even though the freshness and beauty of Deurali village pulled your attraction tightly, we have to make our way to Low Camp followed by birds’ euphonious singing and the scenic view of Mother Nature.

After around 4 hours, mesmerizing view of the mountain happens to appear just in front of us, which indicates that we finally are at our destination for the day (Low Camp).

Starting from low camp, we move up the steep hill for around 1.5 hours to reach middle camp.

This day is the most important day of our trip since Mardi Himal Base Camp is our destination. A steady walk of 4- 5 hours uphill leads us to High Camp. Bushes of Rhododendron trees, variegated Danphes (Nepali National Birds), and the aroma of Himalaya expedite our trekking into a memorable experience.

Majestic views of Mardi Himal, Hiuchuli, Fishtail, and Annapurna South clearly define the true value of High Camp and it projects the pleasure of paradise.

Steep up and more walking hours make our trip more difficult and longer in comparison to other days. After walking for 2 hours make completion of first phase of Camp, known as the Mardi Himal Base Camp(MBC). However, after another 2 hours of climbing will take to Real Mardi Himal Base Camp.

We finally come to end our trip. We will make our way back to Lumre from where we have to catch a jeep ride back to Pokhara and it will take around an hour to get Pokhara.
