  • Client-Care at Its Best - Why Admiral’s Team Stands Out in Nepal

I recently did a trek with Admiral Adventure Treks. It was led by Yagya and his team. Yagya always looks after his clients and there needs come first. The trek around Manaslu was magnificent . Well paced walking days, good accommodation at night and a friendly team. The trek went without incident and was a great achievement.
I would like to thank Admiral Treks and Yagya for an unforgettable trek. I would recommend then for all treks in Nepal.

  • Why I’ve Chosen Admiral 4 Times - Yagya’s Team is Unmatched

In November/December 2014 I undertook this trek with a friend.
We had organised this trek online with Admiral Adventure Treks, specifically Yagya Karki, who was our guide, and we had one porter Bishnu Karki. The trek was a 'tea house' trek, and would have to be one of the better high altitude treks I have done. Isolated buddist settlements (but that is changing), spectacular mountain views (Manaslu is a very beautiful mountain), and enchanting 'old' forests.
Yagya is an experienced guide, and a wonderful, 'lay back' person. Bishnu a gentleman.
Yagya had the presents of mind to get us to buy crampons in Kathmandu before we left. We only used them for 40 minutes or so descending Larkya La, but they were a 'life saver'.
Yagya was informative about culture, religion and the flora and fawna of the areas we walk through. He has a great deal of knowledge and his English is excellent.
But more than that, he and Bishnu are wonderful people. It was like walking with four friends rather than and organised trek. After walking each day we would relax with a well earned drink and a game of cards. A wonderful time.
I cannot recommend Admiral Adventure Treks highly enough. They looked after us from the time we arrived in Kathmandu til the time we left. I have had an association with Yagya that dates back to 1999 and involves 4 high altitude treks. Admiral Adventure treks is a professional, well organised company, with great people, especially Yagya and Bishnu.

  • GREAT Travel Agents Exist - Meet Admiral Adventure Treks!

At he end of two weeks in India I decided that I also wanted to spend some time in Nepal, a country that has held my interest for years. My first enquiry was to Tika at Admiral Adventure Treks and after a couple of questions, he provided a wonderful itinerary that included four days cycling around the Kathmandu Valley rim. Cycling suited my interests more than trekking and having this option was quite exciting.
From first contact, Tika was easy to deal with, prompt in replying to my emails, even suggesting changes where I had either made a mistake or the plans could be enhanced.
This excellent service continued on my arrival at the airport. He was there to collect me, took me to my hotel and then went over the plans for the next few days. He also introduced me to Y.B., my guide while in Nepal. Initially Y.B. took me out on the four day cycling tour which was tougher than I had imagined but also far more exciting. Like Tika, Y.B. was totally professional and sympathetic to changes of plans to suit my abilities or interests. I loved hearing his stories, taking his advice on new local dishes and generally spening some quality time in his company. At the end of four days, I felt more like a friend than a client, he was that engaging.
Today has been my last full day in Nepal and it has been spent with Y.B. and Admiral Adventure Treks seeing some of the local attractions and again trying some locals delicacies. It really has been a magical time all thanks to the professionalism of Tika dn Y.B.
In the last ten years I have travelled extensively through Australia's near neighbours and I have to say that Tika and Admiral Adventure Treks have been the best tour company / guides that I have ever encountered. They totally dispel the notion of local companies not caring about service, totally the opposite, they are what everyone else should aspire to. In travel, there are agents and good agents., Admiral Adventure Treks are GREAT travel agents and I will use them again in Nepal and encourage others to do the same. You will not be disappointed and may even join their ranks of repeat customers.
Thank you Tika and Admiral Adventure Treks for a wonder Nepalese welcome and adventure.

  • Patience, Stories & Safety: Yagya Karki is Admiral’s Secret Weapon

We recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek and had the services of Admiral Adventures. Tika, the owner, did a great job in ensuring we were well taken care of upon our arrival in Kathmandu. Our guide, Yagya Karki, was absolutely the best. Karki was always full of anecdotes, advice and, unlike some guides that we came across during the trek, always prioritized our safety above all else. His calm demeanor, patience and soft skills in managing sometimes very difficult adults (us) was exceptional and we were all pleased with his services. I suffered from AMS symptoms when at Lobuche and Karki took care of me and handled the situation very well. All in all, I would definitely recommend AA and in particular, Yagya Karki!!

  • Already Planning Our Return - That’s How Good Admiral Was!

The trip was really awesome, everything was well managed by Tika. Although we did not have Tika as our guide, our personal your guide y.b.karki and our porter left us with the best memories. We hope to join another tour with them when we're back in Nepal again!

  • Kathmandu Valley Was Just the Start - Poon Hill, Here We Come!

Tika personally welcomed us at the airport upon arrival at Nepal. During our short trek around Kathmandu Valley, we had Yagya as our tour guide. He is da bomb. We picked fresh fruits such as raspberries, plums and monkey fruits along the way. He ensured that we experienced the tastes and sights of Nepal, quick to respond to any questions that we had. He also taught us a few Nepali folk songs such as Resham firiri which we sang during the trek. Along with Yagya, is our porter Bishnu who was really considerate and down to earth. We enjoyed both their company and became ramro satthi (good friends) after our trekking tour. Although we are now scorched and tired out from the trek, these experiences - both good and challenging - will continue to remain in our memories. We look forward to joining their next Poon Hill trek around Annapurna region very soon!
