I've been trekking in Nepal with Tika as a guide for the first time in 2009. I was so impressed that I went back there in 2010 and it appeared that Tika had established his own company. I have done several trekkings in Nepal since like : LangTang, Everest Basecamp, Annapourna circuit etc.
Sometimes with Tika and sometimes with another guide working for him named Tej who also became a close friend to me over the years. Always to my full satisfaction. Didn't had to worry about anything. It was all very well taken care of the trekkings as well as acommodation in Ktm and Pokhara. I can fully recommend Amdmiral Adventure treks to everyone because why would I go back there every time if i thought i could do better with another company?
Enjoy your time in Nepal and you better do it with Admiral adventure treks!!
My husband and I did an Annapurna trek with Tika as our guide. We had the most amazing, unforgettable experience and would not hesitate to recommend Tika and his company to anyone planning a Nepal tour.
Chepang hill trail with Tika Paneru was great and very exiting staying with nepalese families and wonderfull sightseeing. Chepang is a rempote part of Nepal near Chitwan. I enjoyed the trip along villages and nice places and we had a wonderfull sight on Chedartruli the highest point in the region where you see the whole mountainarea.
I trekked with Tika in Nepal in 2001 and still keep in touch with him. We trekked the Annapurna Circuit and enjoyed Tika’s company always. His English made conversation easy and we enjoyed many cultural exchanges. He taught us a card game that we played nightly at every tea house. I started to feel the effects of altitude sickness in Manang and by the time we reached the final climb over the Thorung La Pass I was not in the best shape. Tika was very patient and was willing to get a horse to take me over the pass, but in the end I managed it on my own two feet. It’s unlikely that I will get to see Tika again but I would happily send any friends or family over and entrust them to his care. Looking through my photo album it’s as if Tika were a part of our group instead of the guide. We have as many pictures of him clowning with us as we have of each other.
I went to Nepal a few years back and did the 10 day trek to Annapurna basecamp. Tika was the tour leader. The tour was very organized and the group was taken care of really well. I did not have to think about any of the logistics and felt that I could totally depend on Tika and his team. Tika and his team were also friendly and good company. They were happy to answer any questions or curiosities we had about Nepal and the way of life there. I really enjoyed my experience and felt it was made all the better by Tika and his team. I plan to return at some point and would definitely use Admiral Adventure Tours. I'd also strongly recommend them to any of my friends and family - or whoever is looking to visit Nepal!
In 2002 I met Tika during my first trip to Nepal. He was my guide back then in the Langtang and Annapurna region. In 2011 I returned to Nepal with my wife and learned that Tika founded his own company: Admiral Adventure. Both times I went to Nepal Tika arranged everything. He looks after his customers very well and makes sure everything is taken care off. For instance, we had some problems with our flight to Lukla. Tika rerouted our trekking, all the accommodations and transfers. In addition, Tika knows his business, he has the right contacts and definitely is the most kind Nepali I've met. In short, if you want your trip to Nepal to be an unforgettable experience, then contact Admiral Adventure and ask for Tika Paneru.
